Is there a open water forum any where like iceshanty for summertime reports and such?

Neither one has near the participation though...I think people are more willing to talk about ice fishing than other outdoor recreation sports.  At least I am that's for sure.

I use the myfishfinder site all summer.  We could use some more participation on the site for sure.  If you sign up try and use the same screen name you have here.  It makes it easier to keep your contacts that way.

I like using Myfishfinder.......... but I think most people are busier in the summer months than winter months, I know I am working construction then spending weekends away on the lake somewhere......still a wealth of information for open water......

Myfishfinder is great. Could get better too. I'm busy in the summer but will be a bit more diligent about posting in my area as I get a lot of reports in. It's harder to report on second hand info though. So I suppose I'll have to make some more time to fish!

I also like myfishfinder.com because I can make up a story of how great the fishing is in ''Lake A'' so everyone will go there and give me ''Lake B'' to fish for myself.
