Are there any Lions that are members here? Does anyone have any info on the status of the Derby this Saturday?
The website is dark, I don't see any updates. This years Derby isn't even posted there.

I'm not but I have been hearing its cancelled and I saw it in some paper.
Too bad its usually the only derby I fish.

that's one thing I was never crazy about ! While we are out all day in the cold or rain or snow or wind ! Someone sitting on a couch or bar stool can win money ! I say put ALL the money into the fish prizes

Im sure a majority of the people winning the raffle are actually fishing,its a sad year for ice fishing but i just assumed the lions derby was canceled after yesterdays weather.Does anyone know of a place thats sure to b safe for saturday?Darkbrook had 7 inches of good ice sunday.

Yea think a lot of tourneys will be cancelled this year unless the weather changes drastically. Heading west this week just to find some ice.

Hi guys---Newbie here--I live about a mile from Quaboag pond and fish it as much as I can with the biggest bait I can put on my hook!   Conditions are shaky at the pond-with the shore lines risky, a good long plank or your knowledge of the pond and you can get on to 5-6 inches of ice.   Sorry to hear Lions derby cancelled--will probaly fish it anyway.  Any distant Members needing updates-please feel free.  Actually thinking of throwing on my ice skates to check out a couple of pikers out there.  Good day!
