My catch from sunday

Here are a few of the fish from my sunday trip.  Some nice bass with a couple nice pike.  I had half a bucket of decent perch too.  not as good as the 1st time out as far as numbers but  better quality.

Champlain or Bomo?? ;) can't keep bass anywhere in VT except black bass on CT river.

Actually a lot of lakes have bass fishing seasons through the ice that are open the same days as trout/salmon.

Got um from Champ and all the bass go back cuz u cant keep um.  I put all the pike back too, the only thing i keep is the panfish

I pulled the fish outa the hole and walked him to the portable where the camera was took a pic then right back down the hole, i set him him down for probably 10 seconds,  fish did not freeze, just some snow.  when i slid him in the hole he kicked his tail and covered my face in water.  Alot of people leave the fish outa water to long and some people just plain hate pike and leave um on the ice to die not me I like catching them to much always go back unharmed unless its derby weekend.  I still try to call in to headquarters and if there is any doubt about making the board they go back in.
