Any ice left?

Got on some ice in Rochester Sunday AM. 3 1/2 to 4, and solid.  Boy did it feel good to finally get started.  Decent bite early from some nice gills, but tapered off fast.  Only stayed till 11:30, due to some grilling obligations..Ha  So, did the rain destroy the little ice we had?

Any ice that I was on this last week wouldn't survived this warm rain and snow melt. NO WAY for me this week.  Never felt that the ice was great anyway. Here we go again waiting on good ice.

If there is any left, I wouldn't go on it. And with temps in the 40s for the rest of the week, I assume every lake will be open.

As of now.......I still got ice.  It was shaky before the rain so it aint no good now.  Hopefully the forecast is wrong and we can tighten up what we still have left.

I'm glad I live where I do. One day reaching 40 (Friday).  And below freezing every night. As a matter of fact I'm heading out to check a few places. Fished all day yesterday. Good solid 5 inches of clear hard ice. Gotta love it. I've been fortunate.... been out everyday for the last week. Guess you just gotta know where to go.

I dont have a problem with the temps in my area either..........just dont want the rain.

Here in grant county there is no good ice within a 40 mile radius.  Still haven't been out this season, so we need a good drop in termperature for longer than 2 days!!!!

My channel is locked up as are other smaller bodies of water, However I do not know the condition of the ice.  Rained hard overnight seen alot of standing water today too.  I hope it tightens back up for the weekend

the wind is gusting to 45mph here....cant see getting on anywhere in Indiana in the near future.

Everything remained locked up where I am at.  Dont know the conditions.  Looks like we will be making some ice at night.
