20.5 In. Brooky

Heres a pic of a brooky from a high elevation lake in colorado-the pic is actually a digital pic of a 35mm print,if you know what I mean.

nice fish.

i dont know if anyone noticed this but look around your right shoulder and the brookies side. you took a picture before and it didnt fully develop. there is a slight color difference and you can almost make out what it is...

The glare is from the glass frame cause the original pic is on my wall.I ate the fish with my in-laws!We had surf &turf.Anyway,I caught it in the fall, the lake was 50% froze.

You ate that fish??  WOW,  I would of had that put on the wall with my brown,salmon and my 2 perch!!!  I hope it tasted good, cause it is sweet on the eyes!!!!!!!!

Thats a pig! i catch 20 inchers from time to time but nowhere near as fat as that thing....nice job!

Yeah, what a beaut.  I'da had to put that one on the wall.  Where in the Flattops were you (saw your post in the CO section)?  I've spent a little time up there but never seen brookies like that.  We head in at Indian Camp and fish a few of the lakes up there (Rim Lake I think is one of em).

Theres about 50 lakes accessable from Yampa so I'm not worried-I'll hafta post my 9lb bo and 14lb mac from the flattops also..

Nice brookie!  When I was 15 there was a private mansion that bordered a stream.   We snuck into the stream and caught 20 inchers but nothing tha fat.  Thats a helluva fish.  Great Job

For 3 or 4 years I was actively seeking to break the colorado record(8lb 12oz).I caught several 3&4 lbers before the big one.I would drive 3.5 hrs and then hike 2hrs each way to fish for them,kinda tends to drive one insane after awhile!!
