I'm just outside the island with a friend . Ice seems to be what we had Monday . Using same holes . 2 bass 2 pickerel 1 perch so far ! Tried the cove off the left side of the point ,just to walk the edge instead of the long trail ! No good !!!!!!!! Lack of water under that edge , ice breaking and its muddy ! Stick to the trail if anyone comes here !

ICEHOLE, I saw the 2 guys I think you saw ? Off the ramp straight out . Looks like they got on through someone's yard ? Possibly live there ?

I would think there is a decent current under the ice right there...water really pumps out by the boat ramp at a pretty good rate..thus the open spot..is that a sinkhole on the point along the trail? Seems to be on at the boat ramp too

it usually stays open with the little river flowing from secret darkbrook . I know the big hole toward the end of the trail is from paintball wars .

I caught 8 bass (best 2.14) 4 pickerel 2 perch . My buddy got 5 bass (best 3 lbs.) A lot of pickerel & perch (sm. Bait for my buddy ) I lost a bunch as well ,Dammit ! Need to pick up some new hooks . They just don't get as Sharp with a hook sharpener ! All in all great day

What a difference from Yesterday ! 1 bass 1 pickerel so far ! Big bait ! My buddy burned through 18 / 20 medium shiners ! That's good ,for him ! I'm all set with Dinks all day !

Bass finally started biting again after the storm ! Then it was almost dark

2 @ setup & 4 after 3:30 ! I Hope everyone else had a more productive day
