Anyone driven by Willoughby???
« on: Jan 16, 2012, 06:37 PM »
I assume its either open water or just barely locked up but was curious and didnt want to waste a tank of gas driving up to investigate, any info appreciated.

Never has it ever stayed open all season and I predict it will be fishable by the second weekend! When it locks up it will happen fast!

one thing is for sure, with  this wind any ice out there will be sure to get broken up if the place is closed up.   I have fished it for over 20 years, I can only , maybe, remember it not freezing up completely once.
Silly rookies, traps are for animals!!  Tilts are for kids!!  Fishermen use tip ups!
