So with all the warm weather, I've never been more prepared for my first trip. A tradition in my house is that i take MLK day off since my son is off and we usually do an overnite ice fishing trip. Friday I wake up and my knee is swollen. I could walk but it hurt. We were going to head to Vermont Saturday night and fish Sunday and Monday. By Saturday, I couldn't walk, spent the weekend with my leg elevated. Got into the doctor today and find out I've got Bursitis in my knee. I should be good to go in a week or so but I have to work the next few weeks with no time off. It's not the worst thing in the world I realize but it sucks. I do keep it in perspective as I have friends in Iraq that won't fish at all this year.
