Island Park 1-14
« on: Jan 15, 2012, 03:11 PM »
Fished Island park Saturday morning. Very slow. Was able to catch two small planters and had a total of 5 bites. Fished by the dam just around the corner from the outlet. Seemed like there were a lot of people fishing at the dock area. Don't know how they did there. Parking lot was full. Green jigs and meal worms were the only thing that got the bites. Ice was around 20 inches. Gotta get a power auger one of these days!!! My new jigger totters worked great though. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

When I was there Friday morning, green seemed to be the color also. Had a few hits on white too though.

We were at the boat ramp yesterday and had a poor day also . 15 rods out and landed 2 small planters . A lot of fisherman and not much catching . I think I will try Mackay in the morning . Curt G.

Curt
What time did you guys fish? I went to the dock at 8 and it looked like a zoo already. Thought about coming by when I left, but had to get to Rexburg to take care of a couple things.
