Question on spike order size

I had ordered 1000 spikes last Friday, came in today. This is my first time ordering so my question is how big of a bag do 1000 normally come in? I was expecting more than half of a sandwich size zip lock, which also has bedding. Does this sound right? Thanks everyone.

About the size of a sandwhich baggie is pretty typical.  If you're concerned with the quantity, start separating them into containers of ~100.

I received 500 last month and it filled about a third of s small sandwich bag.

I started splitting them up and realized these little guys don't take up much space.LOL guess there all there. Now I'll know what to expect next time.
