Driving in to green river lakes.

Does anyone know if you can drive to green river lakes? Not going to be able to buy my sled for another three weeks. I've never fished the green river lakes, but would love to try it. Any suggestions?

They started taking snowmobiles in around Thanksgiving.  There is not that much snow, but the road is packed for snow machines.  So no driving in until May.....
