Ice Update 1-1-12

There is no ice so far on the bigger lakes in the fair field county. I know smaller lakes and ponds have skim ice. Looks like we will be fishing the rivers for a couple more days :-\.

I fished west branch res today, was wide open not even a hint of skim but the trout were willing.  Wind sucked.  Oh West Hill is wide open and Mt. Tom has some skim towrds the beach.  At least the open water fishing has been decent.
