Going North
« on: Dec 30, 2011, 08:01 AM »
Once again I will be driving north to check ice.  I only plan on checking woodcreek in CT then all Berkshire spots.  Will let you guys know if I find ice you can fish on tomorrow.

Don't let that stop you from looking! One of the part timers here told me of a place near the VT border that had close to 5"...

Blaine, I changed my mind and went up with the wife and lab.  I fished and will post a link to the video later.

I will say the last ride metal and I took we though closer to the border would be good and actually found less ice there than we thought!

I can't wait!  Forgot to mention was only in about 4 feet of water so thats probably why I had no flags but it beats possibly drowning!
