Another Showdown Troller Question

Just wondering how effective this unit will be fishing for smelt at 50-60' depths. My Showdown 5.6 is great but I need something more portable. Will my small jigs and baited dropper hooks show up at these depths? Any input is appreciated.

ive only fished in 44fow i beleive is my deepest depth.  all my jigs showed up fine.  its a small unit so when the water column is over 40fow it makes things really small and hard to see.  but it should work without a problem.
