I came across this report on proper catch and release techniques and thought it might be worth posting the link.
I found the report to be well researched and informative.
The report is not specific for hardwater, however it does touch on ice fishing, but I think the information presented is potentially useful in most cases.
I hope that by posting the link to this report some of you will read it, learn from it, and ultimately help reduce the mortality rate of fish that are caught and released, especially the big ones. I know I learned from reading this report, and I hope that others will also.
