ice fishing the berksires in mass

i got a ice fishing charter from my mom for xmas at Charter the Berkshires Guided Ice Fishing Excursions in Great Barrington with Paul Tawczynski anybody have a seggestion on where to fish i am thinking Buel, Onota, or Pontoosuc. they seem to have all spiecies of fish and i would like to try to ice my first pike or muskie

I just spoke with Paul last night.  I fish the lakes you mention and its going to be a while for those bigger lakes to lock up.  Having spoken with Paul I think your in for a go.od time, he knows his stuff

There was fishable ice up that way last Sunday, however it wasnt the big lakes

i think in 3 weeks the ice will be ok up there on most of the lakes
