I just fry 'em up in a skillet and then add a few scrambled eggs & seasoning.

My favorite is herring roe bit any roe rolled in cornmeal, litely salted/peppered & fried crisp on the outside is YUMMY!!!

I par boil them and let them cool, then I bread and fry them. I then split them and spread them on toast with grey poupon mustard.
