Cascade Ice Report
« on: Dec 13, 2011, 01:32 PM »
I went out today around 10am to measure the ice around cascade.  I drilled about 5-6 Holes in each location.  These are my results!

East Mountain Reservoir- 8-8 1/2 inches of ice

Cascade Reservior (Lake)-
Van Wyck- 6-6 1/2 inches of ice
Drilled one hole where i saw water earlier in the week and that was 4 inches deep

Big Sage- 4 1/2 - 5 inches deep

Blue Heron- 4 1/2 - 5 inches deep

Horsetheif Reservoir-
Kings point 9 1/4- 9 1/2 inches deep

I hope this helps out everyone on planning there ice fishing trips!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

East mountain Res is off clear creek road on east mountain.  The fish bite like crazy there and it is a blast for kids! its not very big but its stocked! not to far from herrick reservoir.

Okay.  That's probably the one I've seen on my maps as Skunk Creek res.

Great report Tonybuddy!

We should consider ourselves fortunate to have this much ice as many places back east are just now getting fishable ice or still waiting.
