Was out there Friday also - on the east side.  Three of us did pretty good for perch and rainbows.  I suppose we iced in the neighborhood of 60 perch and 10 or so rainbows.  I kept 18 of the perch to fillet; not real big, about a half inch either side of 8".  Biggest went 9".  Was just real good to be out again and make sure the gear still worked!
Ice was a solid 4" and clear.  Not much snow, so w/o cleats it can get kinda dicey.  Action was not overly fast, but steady enough.  Most everything we tried worked to some extent.  Small horizontal jigs, jiggin Raps, Buckshots, etc.  Waxies or perch eye tipped on most, but did get some on Gulp.  Small jigs and light line was best.
