LX-3 Usage Question
« on: Dec 11, 2011, 08:50 PM »
I went fishing today and at the last stop, my Marcum LX3 got loaded into the sled still running with the ducer stowed inside the carrier.  I think it was probably running, out of the water, for 20 minutes or so.  Would this have damaged the unit or ducer in anyway?  I have been through the manual and can't find anything reference to this.  Anyone's experience/knowledge with this issued with this would be appreciated.  I may not get out on the ice again for another week and dont want to worry if i have an issue until then!  Thanks guys.

I left mine on last year in the case and plugged it in to charge without realizing.  Prolly ran for 12 hrs straight.  prolly not good but just put an unneeded extra 12 hrs on the brushes.  You should be fine just a lil extra wear and tear......
