Hello iceshanty community!

I'm new to this site and wanted to say hi! This will be my first year ice fishing I hope I fall in love because Ive spent a good chunk of money on gear  :). Any tips or adobe would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry stupid spell check but I meant advice not adobe haha..but not hats the only thing I don't have. I bought a shelter, heater, sled, rods, jigs, rod case, nils auger, safety equipment, and jigging chairs. I thought about a camera but thought I'd hold off until I see how I like the sport. I went up by ht and cascade and saw plent of guys ice fishing. Talk to a few of them and they were catching some decent trout and perk

Welcome Tony!!!  You spent money on safety equipment? ???  I found it was much cheaper just to have my buddy walk about five yards in front of me!

you got yourself a deal bearsfan! but i totally agree Kozinkeny!  I sure do Brentster7189! Ill def post get everyone updated on ice conditions I went out on Horsetheif yesterday and there is about 5 inches of ice right now! saw only a few people fishing there.  Up north of cascade reservoir there were a dozen people ice fishing! Went out by the boating docks and saw people skating on the ice.  My Nils auger should be here today from ups and ill go out there and measure the ice on cascade lake!  Ill give everyone a report when that happens
