Maybe the ice has been coming early lately and everyone is just spoiled.

This is definately the case.  Been early the last few years.  It's not even officially winter yet!  I'm sure we will have plenty of ice time come january and febuary.

Well south of Lincoln we have open water which is a good thing.............. now we can start over with good clear ice............ i hope.. Take Two Bring on the cold......

None of the ponds I see while driving to and from Norfolk every day are open. All are still frozen over, after all of the rain. No idea what kind of condition it is in though. I may go to Maskentine tomorrow to take a look.

Fished the refuge lakes today.     Ice was good and its Gunna b makin ice all night.     Oh ya fishin was great.     Hittin her hard in the morning again
