Storm Lake

We are going to try out Storm Lake in the morning.  How is the ice there?  I heard 3 to 4 inches.  Is is safe?

there is safe ice on storm lake, but also spots that aren't safe close by. Take your time use all the proper safety equipment and you should be fine. The lake froze and we got snow the next day so there are is a lot of variance in ice thickness.
