That is a good collection. I don't own one panfish rod at all. I think my shortest rod would be about 26".

If you fish 10-15 fow or less, cant beat these rods.

My shortest now is about 23"-24" medium. I used to have one quite short like yours and heavy action. Great on large walleye and pike. The rest are 24"-26" panfish rors. Nice collection though!!

Nice, are they all the same size? how short do you cut them to? they dont seem to have any flex to them. I have a couple extra rods and going to to try one ;D

They are around 15 in, so they fit in bucket,Almost no flex, i lift fish by hand. I use spring bobber on all as you can see, no need for flex. But this is dedicated for panfish only in shallow water, sunnies, perch, crappie. Occassionally i catch a pickerel or small bass.

I like to spend wisely. Like this year i got arctic armor, which is expensive but i figured i needed a jacket and pants so might as well make a good investment.
Alot depends on type of fishing you do. If i needed a rod for deep fishing, i dont think jump rode rod will cut it, lol.

r.b. 1 more ?. are those spring bobbers homemade? they look sweet. are they adjustable? looks like you can adjust sens. by extending or retracting at mount.

Most are but not all, few were made by my dad 20 years ago if not more and they are not adjustable but very sensitive and designed for very light jigs, cant handle tungsten. Others are store bought and are adjustable and my favorite by far as i can fish with heavy tungsten.
If you want a closer pic of spring bobbers, let me know.
They were bought in dows boat rental, NJ on lake hopatcong.
