Well, who got Venison for the Ice?

i aquired a doe from a buddy .venison jerky on the ice this year.

We eat venison at LEAST 5-6 days a week.  In all different ways of course, lot of it is ground into burger, along with steaks, neck roasts, hind roasts, a little jerky, some salami, kielbasa etc etc.....  Everyone in our family loves it, and we will easily go through all that venison before Oct 1st rolls around!  Mom made some venny last night, cooked a football roast in a crock pot with peppers and broke it all up and we ate it just like pulled pork!  GOOD eatin!!!!!!!!!!!!

5x6.  Killed Sept 23rd.

My scale maxes out at 440 lbs, and it would have busted it to pieces had I hung it on there. 

Figure between 750 and 850 lbs.

I swear it weighed 2000 lbs while dragging it 1/2 mile.

I'm 5' 10" 190 lbs...

 Thanks for the reply.  That is a very nice bull.  Perfect bull for Michigan.  I have turkey hunted in the elk area as well as spent some time in the summer up there and seen them many times, but that is the biggest racked bull I've seen.    Must've really done your homework.   You have accomplished the biggest goal of michigan hunting IMO.

That way the meat is untouched.  I always aim for the spine.  That way I don't have to go far to get my deer, and risk my little rascal getting stuck.

I added a nice muzzleloader doe to the meat supply yesterday. My Son-in-Laws buddies gave him a nice sized buck and doe, bringing our count to 5 so far.

My first buck ever.. mines on the right. the one on the left wasnt mine.. but shot an hour after i got mine. the one on the left is a 10, and mine is a 9. Can't wait to snack on him while im in my warm shanty
