whats up everyone,
  seeing that it is about that time i figured i would stop in and see what was going on and say Hi...so are there any wagers on firs ice or is there some someone is hiding...   did everyone have a good summer???any new rigs,pols ect

My summer was pretty good but it went a little to quick. I didn't get a chance to get the boat out as much as I would like. So just waiting on the lakes to freeze so I can try out my new humminbird 345c. I also bought a Jason Mitchell spring bobber rod and the clam ice anchor install tool. I hope it works because it is a pain to put those in by hand.

I was thinking of getting the 345c or a fl-20..This summer was a ruff one as i lost my job for part of the year and my fl-18 was the first thing to go to pay bills but things are better now so i am doing my research to find another before first ice hits but temps here are getting below freezing also so i need to hurry up with it

i seen some skim ice on some ponds around the brohman area, and it was 5oclock and 46 degress..i was pumped..i finally got my hands on a argo, working on putting a diesel in it..hope its ready by the new year!! im sure 1st ice is close to mid dec ;D

Ice is in Alaska, Canada and out in the mid west to west. But i had a interesting summer got a 87 Four Winns 190 Horizon. And its a fun boat and has the V6 rather than the 4 cyl.

No ice in SW Michigan yet, but did see some skim ice on small ponds last Friday. Itching to get out and try my new Lazer ice auger and new Mickey Mouse boots.

I was able to fish on 3" of ice yesterday (central UP). unfortunately theres a bit a warmup coming which might put things back again, but it still felt good to get out :tipup:
