Got the clam rod locker and 2 fenwick elite ML rods and 2 sienna 500 reels this weekend.

Just ordered some rod guides to convert those rods with the legend spring bobber.

And...
Still waiting on the fat fish.

I bought a new Jiffy last year a was shocked how hard it was to start. My old Jiffy was a good runner and started right up. I love how it cuts. Hoping to buy a  new vex. this year. I have an LX3. Never was real impressed with it.

Yep sounds about right Jiffy went from Tecumseh to some chinese brand engines.  Strikemaster went with a German Solo.

German engineering or Chinese engineering........Hmm m itsa tossup ;D

All of our trucks are American engineered and 3/4s of the parts/sub assemblys are made in Mexico,China or Canada.  Nothing is truly american anymore.  Some companys just have stricter quality control.  Key word here is Engineered.

Welcome to the global economy....  Fred will build your part for 5 dollars... Pablo will build it for 2.50.  And Ping Ching Whan will build it for 2.49  wheres the company gonna build it?

I have heard through a small engine repair guy that the company that bought them will continue to make parts for them indefinetly but not make the engines which really doesnt make sense.  Maybe it has something to do with the new epa small engine standards?

2 Pulls to start my 8 yr old strikemaster has never failed well over 1000+ holes a year think I may trade my bit for a dual step chipper this year for the permie.  And go pick up a new lazer pro for running and gunning.  3 horsepower and 26 lbs thats really not that bad.

I got the Ice 35 as well. Love it. You won't be disappointed! Got the new trekker max and some thorne bros rods I'm ready to GO!

How do you like that Trekker Max?  I'm torn between getting that one or the Guardian, but I really like the idea of the hard top and those storage bins

The Trekker Max had to be re-engineered right after it came out, the sled would squash down but it's since been fixed. I have a trekker 2 and its awesome!

The trekker max is much smaller than the guardian and it cost more. I was unaware of that when I bought mine.

I bought a 90* fitting for my bulk tank to run a Mr Heater jr. Its an old heater, at least 13 years old that always sat on 1lb canisters. I got sick of buying those so I bought this deal. It works awesome.
Every plastics manufacturer claims plastics outfish livebait. So now I use livebait just for the increased challenge.
