I have a few of the shad raps UV from last year.  But I am talking about the regular jigging rap.

they are not shad raps they are for open water ,[ jigger shad ] i already own quite a  few of those in 8 different non UV colors ,and i know what you meant about them regular raps just didn't bother to look, really don't think I'm biting on those UV guys , i was at gander i have a better collection of horizontal jigs than they do  ;D

and i hope you didn't jinx us strarting the new BS thread to early , and why did you add it to the last years thread ? in stead of starting a new one ?

Hello to all.  Black ice on the driveway this morning, slide half way down, made me think of ice fishing even though I'm still chasing the deer.

In the market for a new cell phone and I would like to use lake maps with it, trying to downsize my equipment this year.  Any of you use your cell phone as GPS on the water and if you do, what phone do you use and which map software?

Ive never tried it.  I know i can get it for my droid but i like to keep my phone tucked away from the elements.  You did give me a good idea though for a cheap lake map for bay of quinte.

Man O' Man..... looks like the men been rippin on FM since I been away huh? You guys just missed me is all. Lots to do and talk about this season friends. I can't wait to see what is new with everyones gear and plans this up...coming season.
Just for reference.....I plan on starting a thread regarding an ice tourney that my Masonic lodge wants to put on. Coach will help me out with all the scheduling, details etc. This is our first try at it, but we wanna make it an annual deal. Failure is not an option, so please find the thread, and if possible, join the tourney.

Just downloaded the navonic app for my droid U.S. and Canada for 15.00.  Wont use it to often but its a slick app esp when my lake chip doesnt have canada.  Now i can find stuff and put it in regular gps for my trip to quinte
