Em's aunt from Tennessee is serious about trying icefishin. She's a good redneck gal, but thin blooded. I'll try not to let her freeze.

Since I've always been a trout targeter, I'm used to sloooooow days, but I would like her to chase some flags with me.

If you were taking someone for thier once-in-a-lifetime shot at icefishin (probably for perch or somesuch), where would you take them? (Preferably in my area). Not lookin for honey holes, I just want her to go back home with good 'catching' memories!

One, do you have a shanty with a heat source, if not look for a rental.

Two, make sure its a lake that you can get a lot of flags/fish so its exciting. A lake with a lot of pickerel is where I usually take a first timer.

Yeah Roy, that's what I was thinking, to go flag chasing. I was just curious as to what ponds other people might choose.
If I don't buy my portable this year, I have a friends who has an extra I can borrow. I wouldn't subject the poor girl to bucket fishing in the breeze!

Grafton Pond would be a good choice if you want to stay local. You should get plenty of flags there to keep occupied which will take her mind off the weather. Crescent Pond in Acworth would be another good bet.

I believe Adrien likes boobies too.......could be a fairly inexpensive fishing outing.

A guy Started coming to my church a few years back... He's from Georgia, Atlanta to be exact. Started him on the hard water and it was Goodby to Collard greens and Okra.
