Does anyone use any good tip up patterns that they have a lot of success on?  I usually fish a shorline that has a drop off from about 4 to 12 feet of water with some amounts of weed growth.  Any tips would be great.  Thanks

You are fishing for pike correct?

Ice725,

Go to the genreral section at the top of the forum page.  there is a thread on there that has two pages of hole patterns that people use.  I posted my two most productive ones there.

Pickeral act just like small northern pike. I would set up outside the main weededge, and also the first drop off into deeper water. Largemouth bass especially like the first drop offs. I would run about 12 pound fluoro leader and use 3 - 4" live minnows.
