Fishing Sabago Lake sat and sunday after the rain?????

Any thoughts

should I stay home
should I bring my waders
should I bring my picks


Anyone been out on the lake today or going out tomorrow, I would love a update on any slush ar water on the ice

Right now I would say what rain....just looked at the animated radar....looks like it might fly west of us!!! :unsure:

Don't know where you were hanging out earlier but here in Gray it was pouring at 4am.......and still was at 2pm.  Not so much now.

Gotta love your dream of the never ending ice fishing season!  But really I was wondering what state you were in with that weather prediction, then I realized you were in the "State of Denial".  Hey think of it this way, it all has to go mama natures way every year like this to make way for next years ice fishing season!  Good luck with your late season adventures, looking forward to the pics!

Pulled into the station it looks wet out there no way around that, bodom line its fish able. don't know what it is going to be like a fue hundred yards out but we will find out in the am

From the Station; 5:30 AM shoreline soft and loose, then bumpy hard ice right to Fryes. very few problem areas. By 9Am, the ice was loosening a bit, with pockets of windblown water on the surface. Existing holes getting wider by the minte. By noon, very windy, a touch sloppy across the ice, but no real problems. Wet and windy.17 inches of ice@ 12:30 between Indian & Fryes, Some decent cracks with lots of running water into them.  Fishing kinda slow, 4 flags ( three at once) two fish.  Have at it..

Just got back. Northwest side good to go. Just a little corn ice on top. Very nice out there except for the wind.. A few hit and spits but one about 5 lbs was it for the day. Try again tomorrow.
