REALLY fast turn around from Wildlife Taxidermy on this. I was surprised when they called me today and said it was done, I was told to expect 9 months and it was a little less than 2 months.

Im very happy with how it came out, my only complaint is it got mounted on the wrong style of wood than what I picked, but they are gonna fix it for me and do it the right way. Just a clerical error on the order sheet. I saw Keith, NHTF, at the store when i was picking it up. Always good to talk to you Keith!!

That is a beautifal mount and a monster brookie congrats. What did it weigh?

Before I got it to an official scale I had it at 4lbs 14oz on my digital scale that was dead on with an 8 and 5lb weight. Official weight was 4.64lbs after it had been frozen for 2 days.

Wow looks great how much does it cost to have something like that done I was always curious and do you take the whole fish there frozen

It's usually about $12 per inch.

I know him well enough now that its all in good fun, whats that saying if Im making fun of you it usually means i like you. My kid works for him in the summer and I see him all the time, as dorky as he is, we have become decent friends. ;-)

Again nice fish!!! And great fishing on Sebago, however I suspect you lost that one on a frosting lid cutting your line.....say "Hi" to the divers......

Was it a plastic mold mount or an actual mount?

2 months is pretty quick.

Came out great just the same.

A skin mount Jiggin...I asked how it happened so fast, he said he happened to be doing a batch of fish when mine came in so he just added it to that group and wasnt doing any deer or other animals at that time so he was alble to turn it around quickly. The details on it just came out great when you look at it closely. Once they fix the wood piece, I'll repost it with how its supposed to look.
