Nice catch!  Looks like you had better luck than us. We were on the south end right off the boat launch in a camper as well.
We caught a decent amount of slots and one 22" eye.
Its the first time we had ever fished that side of the lake.
It look like you guys had plenty of company down your way during the derby.

Yeah it was pretty busy up our way but we all had plenty of room for our traps.  We got 3 that were 18-18-1/2 that we put back and a few on the small side but most were keepers.  Two years ago all we caught were 14-14 3/4 inch fish, I guess they finally grew up.  The warden told us that we were about the only ones that had many Walleye, that always makes you grin.

Any day is a good day with that many fish on the ice.

We fished 3 days but we had a good time and there was no shortage of fish.  Or Beer.
