Missing screw on my Jiffy Stealth STX
« on: Feb 19, 2011, 11:23 AM »
I recently got a new old stock Jiffy Stealth STX with the 2hp Tecumseh power head.  The Model of the head is TM049XA.

The long silver screw that is located next to the throttle spring and throttle bar fell out and is missing.  What did this screw do?  Does anyone know the dimensions so I can pick one up at the hardware store?

Auger still runs but I would like to fix it.

Not knowing the spec no. of your TMO049A  I'm guessing you are either talking about the high speed jet or idle adjustment screw. Call me with spec no and I can get the part for you.  1-888-887-9906  after 10 am CST

Sounds like the high idle/governor adjust screw.  Mine was set out all the way so that it made no difference.
