Day 1 I got  1st in perch weight and second in perch length.  Buddy I was fishing with got 3rd trout weight.  Hoping to repeat  today

How big was the trout? I got a 4lbr but didn't enter the derby. Lost the same fishing pole twice- recovered it once with the 4 lb attached and then later another fish took it again but this time no recovery >:(

2dogs that a bummer!! I lost one and used a jigging rap to get it back but it took 3 different tries.

Hey 2dogs,

I think I know about a rod holder that virtually eliminates that "lost rod" problem. Ask jezzhuntin I think he knows...

2dogs, I heard about that yesterday during the weigh-ins.  Today got 2nd in perch weight.  one of the buddies I went with got first in perch length and weight, and another buddie I went with got 3rd in perch weight.  Cant remember yesterdays trout weight but todays was 3lbs2oz.

small compared to your cascade jumbo perch, mine at 11oz was the biggest for both days.
