Is anyone fishing on Saturday, I'm try'n to figure out where to go that would be worth the drive?

I was kind of thinking about Stockade also, I here the perch are biting down there.  Hope they call and say my auger is ready to go pretty soon!

just know the majority of perch and gills in stockade are wormy. just an FYI from a previous GFP employee.

I was just over on SD insider looking at the Fishing reports, sounds like the Walleyes are bitting up on Belle Fourche!  Does anyone know where the "Gardens" are on the lake?

They are talking about Gadens Point.

There looks to be lots of "points" on that lake which one is Garden!?!?!?!  I've never been up there fishing and I'm out of Walleye fillets!!

Thanks!  I think I may head that way saturday, got the auger back from Brown's this afternoon so I'm set to go..  Hope to put a few Eye's on the ice so I can have a lil fish fry and watch the 500 on sunday and then get back on the ice monday again!

Reports from today were that it was pretty hard to get out to good ice from the shore without getting soaked.  So I think I'll give Pactola a try and hope that the cold temps over the next few days will firm up the shore ice by orman and give it a try on monday..

Well we got skunked at Stockade today, seen plenty on the vex but couldn't get them to bite!  Oh well with 6"-10" of snow forecasted should make try'n to find a place to fish monday interesting!

orman ice is tricky. didn't look good where i took a sunday cruise. people were fishing. saw one over caught, that was about it. i was poking around down by Fruitdale
