My ATV is useless when I run out of ground clearance, like in deep slush. I would go with sled.

The main lake I fish is absolute slush monster at times, I would be happy to have only one foot to deal with.
We are regulated to NPS approved 4-strokes snowmobiles only, no 4-wheelers,
 SO
I have 07 Yamaha RS Venture and I put on a set of Simmons Gen II skis, 11 3/4" wide, I may stick the track and bury it to the running boards, but my frontend never sinks more than a couple inches.

Maybe in the near future I will upgrade to a Arctic Cat Bearcat w/ a 20" x 154" track and 1056cc,

My ATV has a winch on it so I carry a 4' piece of a 4"x4" with me. When I get stuck in the slop I bore a hole in the ice 30' ahead and stick the board in it and wrap the cable around it and pull myself free.........repeat if necessary!!!!
SO MANY FISH.........SO LITTLE TIME!
