First of all, sure glad I found this site. Good to get back in the loop with things after moving back to PA from AK.
Hey fish hound- I live near the lake and have had most of my luck on shiners for pike, bass and once in a great while, even walleye. Right now, mealworms and wax worms have been good for panfish near the boat launch where they allow people to keep their boats in the summer. Another good spot is out from the boat rental building. The lake will be stocked this week, the 15th I believe with trout so the fishing will be great and a good time to take the kids. Had my 5 and 6 year old nephews out today and there was a lot of water puddles on top of the ice so be prepared for wet conditions. Ice is at least 12" thick (didnt measure it). We had a few flags, but didn't catch anything in the 3 hours we were out there, kids had a blast though. Good Luck!
