I am not trying to be a wise guy, so please do not take my comment as an insult:

I can drop a long list of public access lakes - the gent b4 me did so already.

IMO - you should use google, and/or invest a very well spent $20 and buy a PA Delorme Atlas which will show you every lake, stream, river & pee-trickle in Penns Woods (no internet connection or batteries required) ;D

I learned most of my spots (whether it be ice fishing, open water fishing, or hunting) by doing my legwork and paying my dues by trial and error. Plenty of trips wound up with the skunk, but I enjoy the journey just as much as the results most times.

I realize gas is expensive (and I hope it does not go to $4 a gallon) but as Ringo Starr sings it "You've got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues - and you know it don't come easy"  ;D ;D

If you ask about a specific body of water, I will be more than happy to provide input and details if I know anything.

As far as my private stash ponds and housing development lakes that I have access to, all bets are off ;D

Heck pick a lake in the NEPA region and a date, and ask if someone here will meet up with you and fish.
Depending on which dart you toss, I might jump on that as well as other fishheads here - if you don't mind having BS'ers for company. ;D

Tight Lines...

ask a specefic question and you will get a answer
ask a general question and get a very broad answer

Does it have to be EAST of Danville?  I live in Milton and know of plenty of lakes that fish pretty well in the area.  But I seldom go East of Danville.  North of Danville, and West of Danville is where I'm usually at.  Like the others said, ask a little more specific question.
