Willoughby Ice Conditions
« on: Feb 02, 2011, 10:16 AM »
I fished it 4 times in first 9 days of the season and haven't been back yet...
Ice conditions varied from 2+ inches of black ice with lot of snow/slush & water
on top to 10 inches of clean black ice. This report is 9 days old but lake
froze over between snow storms and entire Northern 2/3rds of lake are
questionable aside from walking single file with a pick in hand. I doubt all that
much has changed as there was a lot of water and heavy snows on top.
