What is a good line for 3 to 6 lbs walleyes

Looking for good line for walleyes not to many pike where I fish in lake eire around Islands and reefs and a occasional perch

I would go with six pound P - Line Fluorocarbon LEADER MATERIAL. It is tough as nails and has great knot strength. Just not suitable for main line of course. Have landed the pike on the 12 pound and had only one bite off in five fish hooked in two trips. Still for pike I would go heavier, but for walleyes, since they don't have the jaw pressure pike have or as many teeth, especially the ones on the roof of mouth, six pound is fine. Never have had a walleye bite off in hundreds caught.

6-8lb Vanish ,change line alot as it does have high memory.

I just use reg. trilene #8 lb mono. If you get into them good and/or use your tipups alot, I would change the 5' leader a time or two. Just run your fingers down the line for nicks and dings, just like normal.
