going after browns and touge this weekend

whats the best tips i could have? bait size? type? and how do you rig your line? any feed back would be great!!!

Shiners, smelts, and suckers. Shiners 3-5", Average size smelts, And sucker size for togue doesn't really matter. They eat anything if they can swallow it.

floro 8 pound test at least 6' long, # 6 hooks for smaller bait #4 for larger, use just enough split shot to get your bait to where you want it.  Fish water 10-70 feet deep, set any where from 10-12 feet down to right off bottom

If memory serves me right i answered your question twice allready and 1 time in a pm for all you need for browns from bait to line ,sinkers,swivels ect....... Are you bored...Pm me your address and i have 6 different books all about ice fishing for different species... :o

It's not touge, kiddo's, it's togue.  :nono:

Best bait for the bigguns is little Brookies.  >:D At least that's what my granddad told me... No can do that any more.  :'(

Lakers are relatively easy to jig. Seems even easier than Crappie. 'Norwegian Acne' is a good lure...  ;)
