Rocketman. You can register on the ice . All the booths are located just off Dorchester Park. You can park in the park. We will be straight off the boat launch. We are the "school" gang. Look us up. i have a Clam 6800 shelter. Can't miss it. We will be the noisy ones. Tight lines to you

not too bad 4-5 " snow, 2" slush they are setting up crappie central as we speak, as reported from a fisherman who is out there right now

Slush sucks!!

but the derby will be awsome!! Like big Al says, don't be too serious at this event, make some noise, have fun and stay safe!! It's a big social event with fishing as the excuse to get out there. Don't get me wrong, there will be plenty of fishing going on for nice prizes, but don't get frustrated if the bite is slow. Good luck to all...hey big Al, the venison is a marinating.

there weren't any wally's entered this year.....nice sized perch and crappies though and a big channel cat

No ,that fish was caught in the same spot we where in the year before. 50 yards from us. We got 17 walleye last year. More waleye where caught then crappie.

Great day at the derby!! Alot of crappie caught,15, but no walleyes. I didn't see any taken. Last year people where slammin' the eye's. Bad year at the point for eyes...ant idea why guys? Nice to see the derby was another great success...nice job guys, and way to show up ice men!

I had a great time at the derby with slamminsam. Met some real nice fishermen and even won a 15 minute derby. My hats off to the folks running it. They had a problem with the PA system. Half the time we couldn't hear it.That rather sucks as they called hourly door prizes and only gave you a few minutes to pick it up.With the PA sound level keep cutting out, you may have missed out on a prize. Hope they can get it fixed for next year.
