Found sled with gear drifted in about 4 miles out from Thomas Road on Tuesday, January 25th. Call 989-674-2631 with specific description of sled and contents. We want to get this back to the rightful owner!

Good News! After thawing everything out, we found a fanny pack with a wallet in the sled. Drivers license and a list of phone numbers led us to the owner. He had a problem with a belt on his snow machine in last weekends frigid white-out and cut the sled loose in order to get back to shore. His new StrikeMaster electric auger is only a week old-but he will be using it again soon. Karma is an amazing thing...you reap what you sow and we are just planting good seed! It really does come back to you as evidenced by the kind remarks we've gotten here.
