Yes, I just wondered if there was a good way in catching bass through the ice.
I'm a teenager desired to catch bass this year.

So anyone has any tips, please free to share.

Two words:  FARM PONDS

I have taken ice bass on about everything, but a jigging rapala, jigging spoon (like a sweedish pimple, vingla, etc), or a minnow and jighead (like a Lindy Flyer jig or Northland airplane jig) work the best.  Have gotten plenty on waxies and teardrops though too so they will bite anything.  Fish around any brush and you should contact some bass on a decent farm pond.  On lakes, a little tougher as they are more spread out, but the same types of areas as summer....rocks, trees, etc. will have bass around them and the same tactics take them.  Good luck!!!

Most iowa farm ponds have bass. Fish next to weed line[closer to bank]. If using wax worms use something that looks minnow like.KEEP THE JIG MOVING. Stop moving once in a while but KEEP THE JIG MOVING.                               Keep in mind that many ponds that have nice gills have nice bass. If you take the big bass out the gills will over populate. I have put 5 LB. bass back in because of 9-10 in. gills we are catching.   ;D
