Not sure anyone in my neck of the woods would consider 25 keeper gills a slow day.  I iced 20 keepers yesterday worked for them sure but had a great day with action coming every 10-20min as the schools swam by.  Today on the other hand working for the fish was an understatement and only boxed 5 keepers but I still felt lucky as I was taking more home then I saw on my way off the ice in other buckets.

But that is why it is called fishing and not catching.

Today I did pretty good but yesterday I tried a new lake that wasn't the best.. I had 15 gills and the biggest one was 3 1/2 inches.
A day without fishing is a day wasted.
