Nice...that's a good haul.  I'm heading up for the incoming night tide this Sat. 2/5 from 10pm to 4am or so with my son and brothers.  Anyone care to tell me how you rig your sabiki's?  I have some #12 rigs and #8 rigs and was going to cut in half and put a sinker on bottom.  Not sure how big though...also, would you use swedish pimples or glow jigs?  Any color preferences?  Anyway, thanks for any info you want to share or PM.

Fished Leightons last night incoming tide 6pm-12:00am. Managed 85 with 4 guys not fast but steady pace. We brought the kids so 2 of the 4 were under 10 years old so not terribly attentive. Bite was very light.

I cut my sabiki rigs in half and then tie on a small swivel. Sometimes I will add a hali jig or swedish pimple to the swivel and other times just a large dipsey sinker depending on the current.

Nice...any particular color sabiki better than the next?  Will size 12 and 8 work?  I have a couple packages of each...thanks.

nice job!  did you weight the bottom of the sabikis (if so, what size?) or do you use a jig (swedish pimple/hali jig) like MaineFishah suggested?

We had 4 rods with sabikis last night and only managed 5 on those the other 80 were on house lines. Were we doing someting wrong?

What size were they?  I buy the smallest I can find.  Sabikis have outfished the houselines easily 10 to 1 everytime I have gone smelting.

we hammered em' one night on an in coming tide during a storm, I would recommend parking up top near the road or you'll never get out of his steep driveway/ parking lot!
