Feburary 5 & 6, held on Lake Dunmore

Adults $20, Kids(12 and under) $10
Register at Kampserville Store (352-4501), Rt 53 Salisbury, VT

1st Place $300 per adult category, 2nd Place $150, 3rd place $50, Separate Children's Prizes.

Additional prize drawings!!

(These prize amounts are based on 2010 entries....if there are more entries, the prizes will be greater!!)

Fish categories are salmon, trout, bass, pike and perch(kid's category)

Cant wait for this years derby! Never placed in the dunmore derby hopefully this will be my year. gna need sum cold weather though, went out on the south end yesterday and there wasnt more than 4 inches of ice in any of the 30 holes i drilled. talked to a guy who had wandered towards sucker brook that A.M. and he said it was quite scary so everyone please be careful out there!!!

The derby is a Sunday & Monday??

ya seriously why would the derby be on a Monday?
Most of us ice fishermen hafta work all week just to afford the ridiculously overpriced and undersized bait at kampersville

I think they are working off of the 2011 calendar...i am sure that the dates will be adjusted

That would be my guess.

The last time I entered that derby, there was WAY too much vehicle traffic for the fishing to be remotely productive.  Didn't get a flag all weekend.  I would have moved, but I didnt see anywhere I could get away from it.

ya way too many people driving around and drilling holes. I was in the derby last year and watched two guys fish over 40 tip-ups on the south end it was ridiculous. Might not be a problem this year, if we don't get sum cold weather we wont hafta worry about excessive traffic. still just too many people out and too much bait in the water, rarely a productive weekend.
