Ya anytime you see trash and perch in the same sentence you know its the Mainers. I need to find some pics Ive seen of guys using trout for catfish/striper bait on tip ups to post on their forums. Perch are at least twice as good tasting as trout anyday, unless they have some nasty perch up there.

You have to make sure they are wild trout and not retarded stockies    Them stockies are only good as fertilizer 



as to the perch...I wouldn't poison an eagle with em...I prefer to throw bass for em to eat

That particular trout found its demise inside the mouth of a 22" walleye    but pike, musky, picks, bass, channel cats and stripers have all eaten trout I've dropped down in the past

I still have a 17" wild brown in the bait tank if you want me to take a pic of him when he's getting used....He's eating all my shiners so this weekend he better hope he's lucky cuz he's going down the hole with a 4/0 treble in his back

so many northerns have been iced on live and dead trout of all sizes. catch and release big pike and muskies...

Hey guys I am not sure if that is a legal way to fish using trout for bait. I could be wrong but you can't use bass for catfish and so on maybe I am wrong can someone clear this up for me. If catching big musky and walleye come with using trout for bait sign me up because I like to catch trout but hate eating them. We all know that half the stocked trout are perfect size for bait then and if I am paying extra money for a trout stamp I should be able to use them for whar ever I want. BAIT IT IS!!!!

You can use trout and bass both as bait as long as they were caught by legal means and are legal size.
