Little shag
« on: Jan 18, 2011, 05:37 PM »
Fished there yesterday and had good luck with the gills. Only had to drill 5 holes to stay on them. Was rather bummed I didnt hook into any bows but oh well. About a foot of good ice with 6 inches of snow on top. Also want to thank whoever is plowing the launch this year!!

A fellow ice fisherman with a plow is a wonderful thing.  I've been to Little Shag before when it wasn't plowed out and it was a mess.  If I'm ever fortunate enough to get a plow/fishing truck I plan on paying that favor forward where ever I go!  Thanks in advance for a future trip to Little Shag!

I've never had any luck the few times I've been to Little Shag looking for those rainbows. I rarely was evening marking anything on the finder. Any tips on where to go or setup? Thanks!

Had good luck working the channel to the left of the launch.
